Bloody Mary and The Virgin Queen- Elizabeth R and Company, the resident professional theatre company at Roanoke Island Festival Park, will perform on Wednesdays June 11 and 18 at 3 p.m. in the Film Theatre. It is a humorous musical farce based on the relationship between Queen Elizabeth I and her half-sister, Mary Tudor. The two loathed one another and yet are buried in the same tomb in London’s Westminster Abbey. The production takes place in the tomb, in the present day. Admission is included in the general admission ticket to the Park. All guests must have a ticket for admission. They can be ordered in advance by reserving tickets at (252)-475-1500 or one hour prior to each performance at the theatre.
