Once again the powers that be have failed to make a decision about replacing the bridge over Oregon Inlet. It looks like someone is going to have to die before they can come to a consensus.
I used to consider myself an environmentalist but since I value the lives of human beings as the number one priority in any situation, I guess I don’t qualify as real environmentalist.
Update: The short bridge has been preliminarily approved. Now we will have to see if this decision gets challenged
Update: The short bridge is being challenged by 2 enviromental groups in Raleigh.
