COA student art sale through December 9th
Published December 7, 2007 by adminIt’s Christmas-by-the-Sea time again in Manteo and one highlight will be the College of the Albemarle’s 4th annual student fine art sale this weekend at 108 Budleigh Street in Manteo, open today, Friday December 7th from 4 to 9 pm; tomorrow, Saturday December 8th from 10 am to 6 pm; and on Sunday December 9th from 2 to 6 pm.
Perfect for Holiday gift-giving, COA students’ fine art and crafts will be offered for sale including original works in mixed media, paintings, drawings, metals, jewelry, clay, glass, you name it!
The COA art sale is part of Manteo’s three-day Christmas-by-the-Sea celebration, the annual festival which includes the lighting of the Town of Manteo Christmas Tree and the Christmas Parade.
Entertainment and events are scheduled all around the town of Manteo all weekend, including a breathtaking holiday homes tour, bake sales, a special visit from Santa, and a presentation of “It’s a Wonderful Life Radio Play” at Roanoke Island Festival Park in the Film Theatre tonight, Friday December 7th and tomorrow night, Saturday the 8th at 8 pm.
