Currituck Daffodil Show
Published March 14, 2008 by Sabrina GordonThe first local daffodil show of the American Daffodil Society will be on Saturday, March 22 at the NC Cooperative Extension Currituck County Center at 120 Community Way. The daffodil show is being held by the Northeast North Carolina Daffodil Society and cosponsored by the North Carolina Cooperative Extension Currituck County Center and the Master Gardener Volunteers of Currituck County. The show will begin at 1p.m. and visitors may tour it until 5:30p.m.
The event will have hundreds of garden-raised daffodil specimens. If you would like to enter daffodils in the show, contact Clay Higgins at 240-632-0002. An award ceremony will be at 2p.m. and the daffodil show is open to the public free of charge. Parking will also be available to the public.
