Duck Woods Women’s Association Scholarship
Published April 14, 2008 by Sabrina GordonEvery year The Women’s Association of Duck Woods Country Club awards a Memorial Scholarship to a deserving member of the community. The scholarship is given to recognize the importance of education and life-long learning in memory of deceased members. The scholarship is to assist a student whose post-secondary education has been interrupted or delayed.
Applicants must reside in Dare County or Currituck County and must be high school graduates who have completed at least one year of post-secondary work\school experience. Who also plan to enroll in at least one college-level course in the fall 2008 semester.
Each year The Women’s Association awards up to $2,000 depending on applicant circumstances, more than one recipient may be selected.
