“Kickin Country” Show from Shoreline Entertainment
Published April 16, 2008 by Sabrina GordonThe brand new spring show of Kickin Country will run April 17-27 with both afternoon and evening shows at the Film Theatre at Roanoke Island Festival Park. Afternoon shows will begin at 2p.m. on April 19, 20, 26, and 27. Evening shows will be at 8p.m. on April 17, 18, 24, and 25.
This year Shoreline Entertainment has added two brand new sections to the show and new songs and dances. There is an all new set and beautiful new costumes. The show starts out in the Wild West with cowboys and can-can girls. You will hear classic country songs from the 60’s through the 80’s as the show takes you to the fun of the 4th of July County Fair. In the second act you will hear country songs from the 90’s through today and see some high energy dancing.
Tickets are available at the Visitors Center at Roanoke Island Festival Park or by calling (252)475-1500. Shoreline Entertainment will be getting together with Basnight’s Lone Cedar Cafe to provide a dinner and show package. Show only tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under. Lunch and Show tickets are $30 for adults and $15 for children. Dinner and Show tickets are $40 for adults and $15 for children and can be obtained by calling (252)305-0144.
