Nags Head Enacts Burn Ban
Published September 25, 2007 by adminNags Head along with Dare County and the Cape Hatteras National Park have instituted a temporary ban on open fires. This includes beach fires. Campground fires that are contained in a container such as a grill are permitted.
Most of North Carolina is experiencing a drought and the state has already issued a state wide ban on open fires. Please abide by these temporary restrictions as fines will be handed out.
