Registration for 4-H SACC OBX summer camp
Published May 20, 2008 by Sabrina GordonThe summer 2008 4-H camp for K-4th grade children is now excepting registrations. The camp starts June 16 and ends on August 8. The camp sites will be held at Nags Head, Kitty Hawk, and Manteo Elementary schools. Camp will be held Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. til 5:30 p.m. Campers must bring their own lunches but, morning and afternoon snacks are provided.
Some of the weekly themes so far for camp are Out of this World, Art Smart, and Putting on the Ritz. There are also some field trips planned for the summer that are going to the movies, bowling, and going to an outdoor swimming pool. Also during the days at camp students can play games, go to the gym, have special speakers, and hang out with their friends.
If you would like to register for any of the eight summer weeks then you should do so quickly because spots are filling up fast and the deadline to register for weeks one and two is May 23.
