THE Studio Tour Oct. 13 & 14 from Corolla to Hatteras
Published October 9, 2007 by adminCelebrate National Arts & Humanities Month by supporting the Dare County Arts Council’s Fall 2007 Studio Tour to be held October 13th and 14th, a follow-up to their hugely successful Spring 2007 Studio Tour.
DCAC has advance tickets for sale at their Gallery in Manteo and are available for purchase at any studio on the tour on the day of the event. Tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for students and each ticket holder may start and end at any of the participating studios, both days.
n October 13th, Studios north of Oregon Inlet will be featured and on Sunday the 14th, those located south of Oregon Inlet will be open for touring. Tours will be open to ticket holders both days from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
DCAC Executive Director Karen Lewis calls the event “an exciting opportunity to share in the creative process of our local artists” and a chance to recognize the significance of local artwork sales in our economy. Says Lewis, “we know visitors love to take home art!”
