Whalehead Club December Festive Events
Published November 9, 2007 by adminDecember events planned for the Currituck Heritage Park at the Whalehed Club in Corolla include a moonlight ghost tour ai 7 pm on December 1st. The 1922 hunting lodge of Edward Collins Knight Jr. will be viewed by the moonlight.

December 8 at 5:00pm - 1st Annual Tree Lighting in Currituck Heritage Park
Sat - The Whalehead Club at Currituck Heritage Park is pleased to announce the first annual Tree Lighting on the North Lawn. Come and join the festive celebrations. The Currituck Beach Lighthouse, decorated for the holiday season, provides a perfect back drop for a family protrait by the Lighted Tree. Refreshments will be available and the Whalehead Club will be open for a special Holiday Tour after the lighting ceremony.
December 8 at 7:00pm & December 9 at 3pm - Holiday Piano Concert
Sat/Sun - Step back in time to the days of the Knights in the 1920’s celebrating Christmas on Corolla Island. Admire the twinkling decorations and enjoy the warm melodies played on the original Steinway Grand Piano in the library of the Whalehead Club. Enjoy desserts and punch and wish neighbors a happy holiday season at the reception. Sponsored by the Whalehead Preservation Trust and the Currituck County Arts Council.
